To implement the demands agreed to by the Punjab government, the farmers have put up a concrete march outside the Ludhiana Secretariat. Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma has been locked in the office and the farmers have sat on dharna outside all their gates. It has been announced that if their demands are not met, they will continue their day and night dharna here. This demonstration is being organized on the call of BKU Ugrahan. There is a demand of the farmers that the Chief Minister immediately agrees to their demands, only then he will end the dharna from here. A large number of police forces have been deployed in the secretariat after the farmers’ protest. Earlier the farmers were staging a sit-in on Ferozepur Road and later they have reached the office to shut down the DC in the office.
