Stutee Ghosh watched a special press show of filmmaker Kabir Khan’s much-awaited film 83 starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi and others, which releases on 24 December. Her verdict is that Kabir and team led by Ranveer as Kapil Dev have indeed hit it out of the park with this one. A retelling of team India’s win against the West Indies to lift the Cricket World Cup in 1983, the film is a must-watch on the big screen.
