The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Monday held a press conference and informed about each and every movement of the youth who committed sacrilege in the Golden Temple two days ago. The SGPC claimed that the servitors of its task force had noticed the suspicious activities of the youth on Saturday morning itself. The servitors also prevented him from going to Sachkhand Sahib twice. When the shift of the servitors changed at 5 pm, the young man took advantage of it and crossed the darshan door and joined the queue of devotees. It is noteworthy that at around 6.30 pm, the youth committed sacrilege in Sachkhand Sahib, after which he was thrashed to death by an angry mob.

SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami called a press conference on Monday afternoon at 3.15 pm. In this, he gave information about each and every activity of that day of the youth who was killed and after that. Apart from this, he talked about forming his own separate SIT to investigate the matter.

Fully trained young man

The SGPC president said that first the Darbar Sahib Sarovar, then the Golden Temple and then Kapurthala were vandalised. The faces of all the perpetrators of the incidents look the same. From the activities of the youth who carried out the incident in Darbar Sahib, it seemed that he had brought complete training. After this the suspicion is getting stronger that there is a conspiracy behind these incidents. He said that Chief Minister Charanjit Channi and Deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa have promised to get to the bottom of the matter.

What happened was the reaction in the defense

Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) President Dhami has said that false statements should not be made on the death of the youth in the case of sacrilege in the Golden Temple. The rule of the Government of India is that even if a bullet is shot in self-defense, it is not wrong. The same has happened here as well. The young man had tried to attack Guru Maharaj by lifting Shri Sahib. This reaction has come in defence.

Dhami said – will make his own SIT

Expressing doubts on the central and state agencies, Dhami said that the committee will form its own special team (SIT). Even though the police is investigating by forming a Special Investigating Team (SIT) at their level. Intellectuals in the team of SGPC will be entrusted with the responsibility of investigation. He said that after the end of the farmers’ movement, incidents of sacrilege started in Punjab. SGPC does not belong to the center nor to the state. There is an election next year and there is a big conspiracy behind these incidents.

Will release footage after SIT report comes

Dhami said that there is all the footage of the youth’s movement. Right now the government agency is investigating, they have stopped releasing the footage. His report will come in two days, after that the complete footage of the youth’s movement will be released.

Case to be done after investigation in Kapurthala

Dhami said that the police have registered two FIRs in the Kapurthala incident. The police should have done an investigation before registering any report. After registering the case, sometimes the police is taking away the head granthi and sometimes interrogating the gurudwara managers, this is wrong.
