The first Poco Android tablet offers 5G and other features at a good price
Poco’s first Android tablet in the market borrows its hardware and design language from the new Redmi Pad Pro model.
Poco has introduced its first Android tablet, the Pad 5G, in India. The device is powered by a Qualcomm chipset and comes preloaded with HyperOS based on Android 14. It features a big LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a four-speaker system. It also gets a large capacity battery which supports 33W wired fast charging capabilities.

The Poco Pad 5G is priced at Rs 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and Rs 25,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant in India. The device is available in two colours– Cobalt Blue and Pistachio Green. The Poco Pad 5G is available online. Poco has announced that SBI, HDFC, and ICICI bank cardholders would be eligible for a Rs 3,000 discount. Poco would provide an additional Rs 1,000 student discount.
Poco Pad 5G Features
Poco Pad 5G display offers a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision support and 600 nits of peak brightness. The tablet has 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage which is further expandable up to 1.5TB using a micro SD card. The device is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB RAM. You get it with the new HyperOS version based on Android 14 out of the box.
Poco Pad 5G comes with an 8MP back camera and an LED flash unit. On the front, there’s an 8MP sensor located on the right side bezel.
The Poco Pad 5G is built with an IP52 rating for dust and splash protection. It has a quad-speaker system, two microphones, a 3.5mm headphone connector and Dolby Atmos functionality. The device packs a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
The Poco Pad 5G weighs 568g and has dimensions of 280.0 x 181.85 x 7.52mm. The tab supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity and you also have the USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
