Rhea Chakraborty took to Instagram to share a new promo on Sunday where she and Aamir Khan get comfy and indulge in deep and fun conversations.
Rhea Chakraborty’s newly launched podcast titled Chapter 2 will show her in conversation with ‘Mr Perfectionist’ of Bollywood, Aamir Khan. The actor will be the second guest on the chat show where the duo will indulge in topics of grief, therapy, films and much more. During a conversation, he called the Jalebi actress “courageous”.
The actress took to Instagram to share a new promo on Sunday where Rhea Chakraborty and Aamir Khan get comfy and indulge in deep and fun conversations. You must watch out for her fur baby also, who joins the duo. As per the post, the clip begins with Rhea Chakraborty calling Aamir Khan “handsome”, who instantly shrugged it off and instead called Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan good-looking.
The actor said, “You have shown remarkable courage, Rhea”. He said this after the actress persevered in the face of excessive trolling, name-calling and online hate after the death of her boyfriend- actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. She spent a few months in jail on abetment to suicide allegations. The duo discussed grief and how “it can engulf” suddenly and overwhelm anyone at any time. In the same clip, Aamir Khan gets emotional and shares how therapy helped him and marked Chapter 2 of his life.
The PK actor may have also dropped the bomb about stepping away from acting which left the actress shocked. He said, “Mujhe filmo se hatna hai (I want to step away from acting)”, to which the host said, “Jhooth” and called for a lie detector test.
The episode will be out on August 23. She captioned the post and wrote, “I’m thrilled to welcome Aamir Khan, a true star and a genuine friend. Stay tuned for a deep dive into his experience with stardom, parenthood, grief, and more. Chapter 2, episode out on Friday, 23rd August.” The first episode of Chapter 2 starred Sushmita Sen.
On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chadha along with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film did not do well at the box office but received praise upon its release on OTT.
