The physical efficiency test for home guards from different blocks will be conducted on designated dates.

The district magistrate of Katihar and Superintendent of Police, have personally inspected the site of the test and have examined the preparations.

The reinstatement of home guards in Katihar district, Bihar, is on the horizon, with preparations underway at the BMP 7 grounds. Approximately 8,500 candidates are expected to participate in the reinstatement process, set to conclude on December 3.

Ravi Prakash, the district officer of Katihar, shared insights into the process, emphasizing the incorporation of digital methods to test the physical efficiency of the home guards. The utilization of digital tools aims to ensure a fair assessment of the candidates’ physical attributes.

Jitendra Kumar, the Superintendent of Police, expressed confidence in the transparency of the physical efficiency test, emphasizing the thorough preparations undertaken.

To further ensure the integrity of the process, Ravi Prakash and Jitendra Kumar personally inspected the BMP 7 ground, examining the arrangements made for the reinstatement procedure. Any deficiencies identified during the inspection were promptly addressed by the concerned officers before the commencement of the test.

Candidates from various blocks, including Burari, rural areas of Katihar, Pranpur, Sameli, Dandkhora, Hasanganj, Mansahi, Kodha, Balrampur, Kadwa, Kursela, Barsoi, Manihari, Falka, Azamnagar, and Ahmedabad, are set to participate in the physical efficiency test.

As outlined in the official release, the physical efficiency test for home guards from different blocks will be conducted on designated dates. The Burari block’s test is scheduled for November 27, while the rural areas of Katihar, Pranpur, and Sameli will undergo testing on November 29. Subsequently, the test for Dandkhora and Hasanganj is set for November 30. Tests for Mansahi, Kodha, and Balrampur blocks will occur on December 1, with Kadwa, Kursela, and Barsoi following on December 2. The final round of tests for Manihari, Falka, Azamnagar, and Ahmedabad is slated for December 3.
