Some people of the village were extracting soil from the bottom of the mine, when suddenly the ground caved in. The people down there got buried. Other laborers standing nearby immediately informed the administration about this. On the spot, the team of NDRF and SDRF reached and started the rescue operation.

The people buried under the debris were taken out and immediately admitted to the nearest hospital, where 7 people were declared brought dead. The treatment of two injured is going on. Murum dug a 10 feet tunnel
