6 former cabinet ministers from Ludhiana in election riot: Luck is trying in 14 assembly constituencies of the district, two face to face from West

In Ludhiana, the largest district of Punjab in terms of assembly constituencies and area, six former cabinet ministers are trying their luck in the election campaign in 14 circles. Due to the presence of former ministers in the field, the competitions in these circles of the district have become very interesting.

In Punjab, whether the government is of Congress or Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and BJP, every government has definitely made a minister from Ludhiana district. Recently, two cabinet ministers from the district have been in the government. Among them, a cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu was a minister for five years and Gurkeerat Kotli was a minister in Charanjit Singh Channi’s government for 111 days. Ashu is contesting from Ludhiana West constituency and Gurkeerat Singh from Kotli Khanna assembly constituency this time as well.

At the same time, Rakesh Pandey, who was the minister of stationery department in Harcharan Singh Brar’s government, is again contesting from Ludhiana North on a Congress ticket.
