3 crore cash found from Mahant Narendra Giri’s room: Lock opened in Prayagraj after one year, his dead body was found hanging in this room

One year has been completed since the death of Mahant Narendra Giri, who was the President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad. How the Mahant died, its reality has not been revealed yet. On Thursday, the CBI team reached Baghambari Gaddi, Math in Allapur, Prayagraj for investigation. In the room where Mahant’s body was found, the CBI opened the lock of that room and investigated.

According to sources, Rs 3 crore cash and crores of jewelery have been found from Mahant’s room. Apart from this, registry papers of property worth crores and 9 quintals of country-made ghee were also found. The CBI has been camping in his room since 11:30 am. The lock of the room was opened in the presence of CBI Investigating Officer Additional SP KS Negi and CBI Inspector. During this, many officers including SP City were also present with the force.

Mahant Giri was found hanging in the room last year

A suicide note was found from the room of Narendra Giri after his death.

The body of Mahant Narendra Giri was found hanging from a noose in a room of the Math last year. The investigation was handed over to the CBI. Anand Giri, a disciple of Mahant Narendra, was arrested in this case. He has been in jail for a year. Many times he has also filed a petition for bail in the court, but he did not get bail. On the other hand, the UP Police had sealed Giri’s room. A suicide note was also found from the room.

Narendra Giri lived in a room on the first floor of the Baghambari Math.

Balvir Giri, the current Mahant of the Baghambari Math, had applied in the court to get the room opened. Balvir had appealed to the court to allow the opening of that room on the first floor in the Math. After this, the CBI reached the Baghambari Math on Thursday. On Thursday, from 11:30 am to 7 pm, the CBI got every item videographed. However, CBI officials refused to interact with the media in this regard.

Narendra Giri’s handwriting in suicide note
After examining the handwriting of the suicide note found after the death of Mahant Narendra Giri, the CBI confirmed that he had written this suicide note. Apart from this, the video which was made before death, was also made by him. The CBI has said in its chargesheet that Mahant Narendra Giri had spoken to two of his servants before his death. During this conversation, he had asked whether the wrong video could be made by changing the face in the photo and video.

Two videos were found from Mahant Narendra Giri’s mobile. In the first video, he had blamed Anand Giri, Aadhya Prasad Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari for the suicide. In the second video, he is with some women. It was said about this video that Anand Giri can defame Mahant Narendra Giri.
