23 people must be appointed within 23 days, the court directed the primary parliament

The parliament is facing reprimand from the court again with the initial appointment. On Monday, the lawyer of the Parliament was reprimanded by Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay during the hearing of a case. He also directed to give employment letters to 23 job seekers who have been deprived for 6 years within 23 days. In the next hearing of the case, they should confirm whether they have received the appointment letter or not and inform the lawyer of the Parliament.

These 23 people who passed the TATE exam in 2014 told the court. They were trained candidates but did not get appointed. But untrained candidates got jobs. The petitioners informed the court that in 2014 they failed the TATE. After that, a group of examinees filed a case in the court claiming that 6 questions were wrong in that examination. In that case, the court ordered to give 1 mark for wrong question. As a result, these 23 people passed. After that, they approached the parliament to demand appointment. But was not appointed. When the case was filed in the court, the parliament admitted the mistake and ordered the appointment of the petitioners. But even after that they did not get the appointment letter.

On this day, the lawyer of the Parliament said in the court that the list of vacancies is not in the hands of the Parliament. As a result, the appointment letter could not be given. Justice Gangopadhyay was very angry after hearing this. He said, these are not arguments. These eligible candidates are deprived for 6 years. They have to give the appointment letter within 23 days. If necessary, arrangements should be made to appoint them from future vacancies. The appointment letter should be handed over to them by September 28.
