Ahmedabad. Indian Railway Pensioners Association, Bhavnagar Division, Gandhigram Branch, Ahmedabad organized a monthly meeting of Railway Pensioners on 1/4/2023 at Vastrapur Lake. In which Chief Guest Dr. Vijay Desai of Mandal Railway Hospital and AGM Mrs. Anu Gupta from Centralized Pension Payment Center Gandhinagar, Special Guest Railway JC Bank Director Sanjay Suryabali and singer-composer Jaykar Bhojak were present.
In the meeting, 20 pensioners above the age of 75 years were honored by giving mementos and garlanding them. Apart from this, a musical program was also organized, in which Jaykar Bhojak, his daughter Bhairavi Ben, Himali Dave, Ashish Patel, Nikitaben, Pradeep Sharma provided music and encouraged all senior citizens up to 95 years of age to dance.
Mrs. Anu Gupta informed about the submission of digital life certificate regarding pension sitting at home. Dr. Vijay Desai said that he and Sabarmati Railway Hospital are at his service 24×7. Sanjay Suryabali praised the program of Pensioners Association.
Association Secretary Anilbhai Arora and his team listened to the problems of retired railway employees and assured them to solve them at the earliest and to provide early pension to their families, social service, removal of error in pension payment order, unmarried daughters and Assured to always help widow daughters in works like getting pension when it is legally due.
The birthday of 92 year old pensioner Khanduja was also celebrated. All the senior citizens present in the ceremony looked happy and pensioners. Indian Railway Pensioners Association Secretary Anil Bhai Arora said that such programs will continue indefinitely.
