Arpita Chatterjee’s troubles are increasing in West Bengal teacher scam. The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is probing the case, once again raided his Belgharia flat on Wednesday, in which huge cash was found. So far Rs 20 crore has been counted in the raids conducted on Wednesday. The investigating agency is still counting the cash, this amount may increase further.

Cash counting from three machines
Three machines have been installed to count the cash recovered from Arpita’s house. Apart from this, a large quantity of jewelery was also recovered. According to sources, three kg gold was seized from Arpita’s self. Its cost is around 1.5 crore. In all, 41 crore cash and jewelery worth 2.5 crore have been seized so far.

Rs 41 crore cash recovered so far
Let us inform that on 23 July also ED had raided the places of Minister Partha Chatterjee and his close aide Arpita Mukherjee. Rs 21 crore in cash and jewelery worth Rs 1 crore were found at Arpita’s house. Many bundles of Rs 500 and Rs 2000 notes were stuffed in bags and bags in a room. The agency also got the documents.

Thereafter both were arrested. In all, 41 crore cash has been recovered from Arpita’s house so far. Cash counting is still going on. Apart from this, a large number of jewelery has also been found. The investigating agency is still assessing it.

Here, the ED has sealed one of the two flats located in Arpita’s Belgharia Town Club. In the notice, Arpita has been given the reason for not paying maintenance of Rs 11,819.

Raids also took place at Arpita’s relatives
The ED on Wednesday again raided the premises of Minister Partha Chatterjee and his close aide Arpita Mukherjee. According to reports, ED has raided 5 locations of Parth and Arpita. The ED team also raided five places in and around Kolkata, Arpita’s office, relatives’ houses and other flats in Belgharia and Rajdanga in North 24 Parganas district.

Partha Chatterjee said – why should I resign
On Wednesday, on the orders of the court, Parth and Arpita were again medically examined after 48 hours. When he came out after a two-hour checkup, journalists repeatedly asked him about his resignation from the post of minister. On this, Parth shouted and said – Give the reason why I should resign.

Parth not answering questions, Arpita cooperated: ED

BJP’s allegation – Apart from Arpita, another woman is also involved

BJP national vice president Dilip Ghosh on Sunday claimed that apart from Arpita, another woman is also involved in the recruitment scam. Her name is Monalisa Das, who is a teacher by profession and is very close to Minister Partha Chatterjee. Das has 10 flats, which should be investigated. Partha Chatterjee is a diabetic patient
