In Haryana’s Sonipat, the court has awarded death sentence to two criminals. On May 9, 2017, they kidnapped a girl going to the factory and then gang-raped her in Rohtak. After this, after killing the girl in Parshwanath City, the dead body was dismembered. In this case, 44 people testified in the court of ASJ RP Goyal. It has been told that a girl from Sonipat city used to work in a factory. She had left for work on May 9, 2017, accompanied by another young woman who was working with her. On the way, two youths forced him into the car and fled. Took the girl to Rohtak. There she was drugged and gang-raped. After this, after killing the girl, the dead body was mutilated. Later, when the police recovered the body from Rohtak, it was identified.

Meanwhile, the police CIA had arrested Sumit of Kirti Nagar with a country made pistol. He disclosed during interrogation that he along with Kabirpur resident Vikas Yadav had abducted the girl. Statements of 44 people including the girl’s co-worker, parents of the deceased were recorded in the court. After the statement of evidence and witnesses, the court convicted Sumit and Vikas on 6 December.
