Ten people, including two children, were killed in a collision between a car and a private bus in Karnataka on Monday. The incident is of Tanarsinghpura near Mysuru. Three people in the car were injured. He has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. There were a total of 13 people including the driver in the car.
SP Seema Latkar said that the Innova car was badly damaged in the accident. The condition of the three injured people is serious. 9 people who died were from Bellary and the driver was from Mysore. The accident happened near Kurbur village, 35 km from Mysuru city. A total of 13 people including the driver were on board at that time.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has announced an assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased. Along with this, instructions have been given to provide free treatment to the injured.
